So What makes The ABBA allstars different from the rest?
Attention to detail and ability is
the simple answer. Charlie spent six months making the
star guitar you can see
in the picture which was featured in the Waterloo video and the
winning performance during the Eurovision Song Contest. The body of
the guitar used to be a Gibson Explorer – the metalflake paint alone took four
months to come from the USA and its this attention to detail which
makes The ABBA allstars different.

Spending hundreds of hours in the recording studio
the band have attempted to
distil the essence of ABBA’s success combining their musical
ability with humour to provide
the audience with a night to remember. “We like to involve the
audience with the show” Charlie told me, with competitions and prizes
including signed posters and the bands latest CD. “The posters
are a really useful prize” he said “The picture of
Benny will keep your kids away from the fire place!”
